Apcap da sorte

Apcap da sorte is an online platform to carry out the free distribution of prizes through drawings backed by Savings Bonds, a single contribution Incentive Mode. An incredible product, but a little usability test reveals some problems and improvement points for the App.

Challenge

We identified through some quantitative research a difficulty on the part of the user, in the purchase process, and with this information in mind, we started our discovery process to improve this flow.

Solution

After two weeks, of research analysis and redesign, I was able to validate, the assumptions and changes I had made. I did this by testing my clickable prototype with 6 new users. The results were satisfactory when I presented them to stakeholders, with the success of the test we launched the feature in January 2022, We improved the app sales by 13% over the first semester of 2022.

Usability test

To Uncover pain points while using the iOS App, I conducted 6 usability tests to gather qualitative data from the users and have a more profound understanding of their behavior and feelings.

At the same time, I carried out some research to understand how other e-commerce companies handle the checkout process, and I gathered some insights to improve our flow.

Initial proposal

Based on the study, the team decided to take these 3 items to focus on:

It’s not clear which payment method I’m choosing;
Difficulty in changing credit cards;
Product info is not clear;
