Small changes that we applied to the dell.com website, to be able to sell on-premises, pay-per-use infrastructure servers and storage with cloud-based managed resources. 

Challenge

The team carried out research, that identified problems in the purchasing process at the website. it is a long process passing through several steps, where the user must customize the purchase.

Solution

I based the solution on a process similar to the purchase of flight tickets and the process of online form requests, where we can save the process in the middle to finish it later. We implemented it on the website in January 2023.

The team had a large onboarding on this project by the stakeholders, and together with the large research we were presented we were able to create a User journey to understand the pain points we are solving at this point.

After we manage to create the entire flow, we proceed to user testing the feature.
Unfortunately at this stage, we had to finish the project, but this small change gave to the product reduction in purchase abandonment by 10%
